Erica Saccoccio is a Business Owner and President with over 22 years in the early education and youth development field. She opened six childcare centers in a 12-year period serving over 800 families in the cities of Warwick, West Warwick, East Greenwich, and Cranston. In addition, she expanded on a growth opportunity and brought the After School Moves dance enrichment program to life as her seventh business, and opened a 5,000 square foot dance studio offering dance classes to 96 students.
As a successful business owner her duties included creating a business plan, securing funding, strategic planning, finances, compliance, state licensing, marketing, sales, coaching, mentoring, customer services, bookkeeping, building brand loyalty, customer retention, accreditation, and quality star ratings, hiring and training. Problem Solving & Maximizing Resources- Stealth ability to see growth opportunities others may not in their business.
Great problem solver and have the ability to help business owners raise standards, and flush out their vision, mission, and core values. Inspires you to meet the daily challenges required to run a successful business owner partially business in the first five years aka “startup years”. Entrepreneurship and Running and Working in a Family Business are in her DNA. She started her first job at the age of 16 as a night manager at her uncle's bakery and loved working with people and understanding basic business principles. Growing up, her entire family owned their own business, her uncle Jerry owned a successful business on Federal Hill and is now run by his son. This business is going in its 5th generation of ownership. Her aunt Cynthia and Uncle Richard started a successful jewellery company in the 1970s designing pieces for many companies including Avon. During the highlight of the jewellery industry in Rhode Island, even their son Captain Rick owns a local boat sales and repair shop in Warwick.
